About The MIND Center
The MIND Center at the University of Mississippi Medical Center is a national leader in Alzheimer's and dementia research, clinical care, education, and support services. As part of Mississippi's only academic medical center, The MIND Center is dedicated to advancing the understanding, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
Led by Dr. Tom Mosley, the Robbie and Dudley Hughes Distinguished MIND Center Chair and Director, The MIND Center combines innovative research, state-of-the-art brain imaging, and advanced genetic technologies to improve the lives of patients and families across Mississippi and beyond.
Established in 2010 through a shared vision between Dr. Mosley and Jackson businessman and former U.S. Ambassador John N. Palmer, The MIND Center has grown into a world-class destination for Alzheimer's and dementia research and care, bringing hope and groundbreaking discoveries to the communities it serves.
