Santé South provides a unique platform for restaurants to showcase their culinary expertise, share signature flavors, and connect with guests who appreciate extraordinary food and hospitality. As attendees sip, sample, and explore throughout the evening, participating restaurants help create an experience that celebrates the best of Mississippi's vibrant culinary community.
While guests enjoy an evening of exceptional food and wine, their support helps advance the work of The MIND Center at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, funding Alzheimer's and dementia care, education, support services, and research that impact families throughout Mississippi.
TASTE OF THE SOUTH COMPETITION
Every participating restaurant is automatically entered into the Taste of the South Competition, one of the festival's most anticipated traditions. Guests cast their votes throughout the evening, and one restaurant will earn the title of Taste of the South Champion.
More than a competition, this coveted award celebrates culinary excellence and recognizes the restaurant that creates the evening's most unforgettable bite.
The winning restaurant receives:
$5,000 cash prize
Official Taste of the South Champion plaque
Restaurant name and logo featured in post-event thank-you advertising across television, radio, and digital channels
